SPEECH DELIVERED BY HONOURABLE (BARRISTER) ALIYU WAKILI BOYA - MEMBER REPRESENTING FUFORE/SONG FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY & CHAIRMAN HOUSE COMMITTEE ON POLICE INSTITUTIONS, AT A CIVIC RECEPTION ORGANIZED IN HONOUR OF HONOURABLE VRATI NZONZO OVER HIS APPOINTMENT AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, PLANNING AND DESIGN, CHAD BASIN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, MAIDUGURI, BORNO STATE. HELD SATURDAY 14TH JUNE, 2025, AT LAMURDE TOWN HALL, LAMURDE LGA, ADAMAWA STATE.
Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen good afternoon.
It is with immense pride and heartfelt joy that I stand before you this afternoon to extend my warmest congratulations to my good friend who is like a brother - Honourable Vrati Nzonzo on the occasion of his well-deserved appointment as Executive Director, Planning and Design, Chad Basin Development Authority, Maiduguri, Borno State.
This moment is not just a personal milestone for Honourable Vrati Nzonzo, but a celebration of excellence, dedication, and a lifelong commitment to public service.
We are witnessing the rise of a leader whose integrity, vision, and tireless efforts have earned him the trust and confidence of both the people and the appointing authorities. Honourable Vrati Nzonzo has consistently demonstrated what it means to serve with honour and humility.
Whether in his past roles and achievements at different areas and locations, Honourable Vrati Nzonzo has proven to be a person of action, one who listens deeply, leads with wisdom, and remains grounded in the values that matter - such as accountability, fairness, and progress for all.
As Honourable Vrati Nzonzo takes on this new mantle of responsibility, we are confident that he will bring the same passion, courage, and excellence that have defined his successful and excellent career years back.
We look forward to a tenure marked by meaningful reforms, inclusive policies, and measurable impact. On behalf of all of us here - and indeed, all well-wishers - I Hon. Barrister Aliyu Wakili Boya say congratulations to my brother Honourable Vrati Nzonzo!

Before I conclude my Speech, let me thanks the great and blessed people of NUMAN , DEMSA AND LAMURDE Federal Constituency, for organising this Civic Reception to honour the illustrous son of the soil under the the Umbrella of AMANA MOVEMENT, which is an affiliate of APC in Adamawa state.
May the Almighty God bless you for this Great Honour to my dear friend.
Furthermore, I want to also use this opportunity today, to urge this Hardworking and patriotic people of these Communities to please join the moving train and vote APC in all the elections in 2027. So that, our dear State will be in the mainstream of the Ruling party, so that more dividends of the Democracy will be evenly distributed across the nooks and cranies of the state.
As i am standing before this August gathering today, I am happy to inform you that more Indigines of our state are on Mr President and Commander in Chief table for Consideration of more Federal Appointments .
My dear brothers and sisters, with this success and progress we are recording to our state, it's high time to reciprocate this gesture by voting the APC from bottom to the top come 2027 elections.
And by His Grace in 2027, I gave assurances , Adamawa will be APC State with your votes and prayers.
