The rising star of Adamawa's political landscape, Hon. Barr. Aliyu Wakili Boya, has ascended to prominence following his relentless efforts toward sustainable development in his constituency, Adamawa, and Nigeria at large.
Boya is a man of empathy, with his people eternally at the forefront of his heart; he spares no expense, often utilizing his personal resources to support his constituency and individuals alike.
Boya exhibits profound respect for his political party, APC, which nurtured his political journey, for his constituents who granted him their mandate through votes freely given, for stakeholders, and for traditional institutions. He champions the cause of women, recognizing their pivotal role in human society, supporting them unreservedly.
As a barrister, Boya operates steadfastly within the ambit of the law, adhering to the dictates of the National Assembly's legal framework.
He stands as a political record-breaker; within just two years in office, Boya has directly impacted the lives of over three hundred thousand individuals in his constituency, orchestrating no less than twenty empowerment initiatives.
Arguably the most expansive empowerment drive saw 15,000 beneficiaries receive substantial support comprising: 86 cars, 87 Keke Napep, 46 carry goods vehicles, 500 motorcycles, sewing machines, 2000 water pumps, 2000 grinding machines, 5000 spaghetti machines, 2000 15kg flour powder, 2000 cartons of spaghetti, 2000 cartons of Maggi cubes, 3000 litres of cooking oil, 15,000 25kg bags of grain, 12 trailers of fertilizer, and a ₦220,000,000 cash transfer for startup businesses across the constituency.
These profound empowerments have garnered Boya considerable respect, attracting numerous awards from governmental, non-governmental organizations, agencies, political entities, and international bodies, significantly bolstering his political CV.
Another landmark project underscoring his impact is the ongoing rehabilitation of the Njabbi Lamba Malabu Sarau Belel Jibiro Konkol Road, which Boya facilitated from conceptual motion through the Ministry of Works to on-ground execution, a contract valued at ₦97 billion with instrumental payments of ₦20 billion and ₦27 billion already processed.
This monumental project cements his reputation as a transformative lawmaker capable of actualizing near-impossible feats.
Additionally, Boya has sponsored two pivotal bills for establishing the Federal College of Health Technology, Song, and the Federal College of Education Technical, Fufore, shepherding them through stages up to public hearing, awaiting assent into law.
Boya's interventions have wrought miraculous developments in education, infrastructure, power supply, agriculture, health, and humanitarian support.
He stands as a record-breaker in northern Nigeria's political annals, recognized as the highest performing legislator, accoladed with the 2024 Highest Performing Legislator Award.
