Hon Barr Aliyu Wakili Boya has taken a significant step towards electrifying his constituency by installing 60 transformers across Fufore and Song.
The installation consists of 30 500KVA and 30 300KVA transformers, aimed at connecting off-grid communities to the national grid, replacing stolen, vandalized, and faulty transformers, and ensuring a reliable electric power supply.
This initiative has brought numerous benefits to the communities, including improved social lives, reduced cost of living, and enhanced business opportunities.
Additionally, Hon Boya has installed mini-grids powered by solar electric panels in Zumo and Fufore, providing energy access to these communities.
To enhance security, safety, and beauty, Hon Boya has installed 10,500 solar street lights across the constituency.
This initiative has not only improved nighttime activities but also reduced crime rates, making the area a safer place for residents.
Hon Boya has also prioritized the installation of solar power panels at critical facilities such as Malabu Primary Health Care Centre, ensuring a reliable power supply for medical services and staff quarters.
This is particularly important, as power supply is an essential element of healthcare service delivery.
By providing solar electric power panels to religious institutions, including mosques and churches, Hon Boya has demonstrated his commitment to transforming the lives of his constituents.
His efforts have earned him recognition, and it's clear that he has met his goal of bringing about positive change to the lives of the people in Fufore and Song.
