#boyamovingtrain
Hon Barr Aliyu Wakili Boya, Esq, proudly bearing the revered title of Sardaunan Malabu and Sardauna fufore, was born on June 8, 1978, into an illustrious aristocratic family in Malabu District of Fufore Local Government, Adamawa State.
From his earliest years, he was steeped in the values of leadership, service, and community, laying a foundation that would later blossom into a life of distinction.
His formative education in his native Malabu underscored his deep connection to the grassroots; a bond that continues to define his commitment to the people.
His traditional title, extending its prestige across the Adamwaa Emirate and the historic Fombina dynasty into parts of the Republic of Cameroon, is both a symbol of his noble heritage and a testimony to his enduring influence.
With an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Boya pursued legal studies at the University of Maiduguri, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Law.
His journey to the noble profession was crowned at the Nigerian Law School, abuja, where he was duly called to the Bar, becoming a barrister of repute.
His early career in public service saw him serve with distinction as Legislative Aide to Senator Muhammadu Bello Tukur between 2011 and 2014, and later SSA on Abuja affairs to Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, the then Governor of Adamawa State, in 2015.
These experiences sharpened his political instincts, refined his leadership skills and positioned him as a rising star in Adamawa politics.
Answering the call of his people, Boya ventured into grassroots politics, where he earned overwhelming trust and was elected Executive Chairman of Fufore Local Government Area.
His sterling leadership soon propelled him to the position of Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Adamawa State, a role in which he became widely celebrated for his selfless service and visionary governance.
Among his many acts of compassion, one stands out with lasting resonance: in 2017–2018, he mobilised N2,000,000 to settle the medical bills of an indigent victim from Ribadu District, whose kidney had been cruelly removed in a case that shook the conscience of Adamawa State.
His intervention not only attempted to save a life but also doused rising tensions.
This singular act earned him the Periscope Global Publishers Compassionate and Excellent Leadership Award, and his years as ALGON Chairman were decorated with numerous local and international honors, affirming his reputation as a leader of empathy, courage and integrity.
Today, Hon. Boya serves with distinction as the Honourable Member representing Fufore/Song Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly, under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Though serving his first term, his impact is already monumental.
He has sponsored two critical bills focused on strengthening tertiary education, advancing teaching and learning and creating skills acquisition schemes designed to empower women and youth toward self-reliance.
Beyond legislation, Boya has been tireless in sponsoring students from his constituency - from primary school to tertiary level - while advancing career development opportunities for the next generation of leaders.
His people proudly affirm that his performance stands “the best of the rest” in Adamawa State.
A learned gentleman, Boya is a respected member of the Nigerian Bar Association and other professional bodies.
Beyond his official duties, Boya finds joy in reading, engaging in meaningful interactions and traveling.
His journeys have carried him across all hamlets and villages in Fufore and Song local governments areas he is currently representing, where he has delivered the dividends of democracy with humility and devotion.
Indeed, his travels have extended to every local government in Adamawa, to the entire 36 states of Nigeria and to more than 40 countries worldwide, including the United Kingdom, United States, Russia, across Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean, the United Arab Emirates, and much of Africa.
Only yesterday, Boyan returned from America - driven not by leisure, but by the noble resolve to honor this very occasion.
Above all, Hon. Boya is a devoted family man, happily married and blessed with children who are the pride of his household and the promise of tomorrow.
In Boya, Adamawa State finds a leader of noble birth, scholarly wisdom, political acumen and an unwavering passion for humanity.
In him, Nigeria celebrates a parliamentarian whose service is guided not by self-interest but by the timeless values of compassion, duty and honor.
Ladies and gentlemen, please rise as we celebrate a distinguished lawmaker, an illustrious son of Adamawa, a leader with compassion at heart - Honourable Aliyu Wakili Boya, Esq., Sardaunan Malabu, Sardauna Fufore Emirate council
