From Grants to Employment, Hon. Barr. Aliyu Wakili Boya Uplifts Women Across Fufore/Song
Hon Barr Aliyu Wakili Boya has consistently affirmed that women are an integral part of our society, and that supporting a woman is tantamount to supporting the nation. Guided by this conviction, his administration places women at the heart of development through deliberate programmes of empowerment, inclusion, and dignity. For Hon. Boya, the progress of Fufore/Song Federal Constituency cannot be complete without the active participation and advancement of women.
In fulfillment of this commitment, Hon. Boya has empowered women with substantial grants for start-up businesses, and provided cars, motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, and spaghetti machines to enhance economic independence. He has also distributed farming inputs and facilitated diverse skills acquisition programmes including charcoal production, liquid and solid soap making, bags, beads and shoes making, as well as cassava cultivation and processing into wealth.
In addition, he built a complete two-bedroom house with toilet for a women leader in Fufore Local Government. Beyond economic support, Hon. Boya has extended scholarship opportunities to women and secured employment for them in the federal civil service, including the Nigeria Police Force. His administration remains firmly anchored on an inclusive agenda that recognizes and uplifts women.
